We took Scott's family downtown to Union Station because we'd heard they really go all out at Christmastime. We were definitely not mislead!
It was a winter wonderland!

The kids got extra spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa and got to ride on the train!
We were terrified that Bennett would jump out. He's a little too unpredictable!
Thankfully he didn't jump out, but every time the train rounded the corner and he caught sight of Scott, he would hang out the side of the train so Scott would see him.

They had more model train sets than you could count.
It was amazing!

After Union Station we had to take the family to experience some famous Kansas City barbecue. We took them to Oklahoma Joe's, which has quickly become a favorite in this house.
You know it's going to be good barbecue when the restaurant is in a gas station and the line wraps around the whole place and goes out the door!

To say that Bennett loved the food would be an understatement.
I think he consumed more brisket than I did.
And that's saying something, because I ate a lot!
