Since we didn't head back to Utah for Christmas this year, Scott and I decided to attempt my mom's most beloved tradition, making carmel.
This is something I have to learn how to do or I might be disowned. My grandma was amazing and I would definitely say my mom is even more amazing at making them.
I like that Scott likes to get in on the tradition!
We put the carmel on pretzel rods, then covered them with chocolate.
We had a very happy taste tester.
Well, he was happy until we cut him off.
Very unhappy.
Also, pretty random, but I want it documented, Addie was in a nativity with some of her little friends this year. They performed the sweet nativity at an assisted living center. Addie was the angel and took her role very seriously! She was mostly concerned that her costume be perfect.
