Ice Skating

Addie has been BEGGING to go ice skating for weeks.

With her being the scaredy cat that she typically is, we didn't think it was a good idea.

But she insisted that she would be very brave and that she would do a 'really good job.'

We thought it'd be fun to take her on a special mom and dad date, so we took Bennett to a babysitter's and took Addie to an adorable outdoor ice-rink.

Those tiny ice skate are the cutest things!

 She was as scared as we thought she'd be.

I only arranged for about an hour of babysitting because I thought she's be exhausted after an hour and ready to go.  My mistake.  She definitely didn't get exhausted within the first hour because she was so nervous that she hardly moved anywhere.  After about 45 min she was starting to get brave and get the hang of things.
