Christmas Day!

Santa sure spoiled us this year!
Our tiny little Charlie Brown tree was swallowed up amidst all of the presents!

He also brought the sugar cereal that he always does.

The stockings were a jackpot!

She's been dying for some clip-on earrings!

Bennett got a Radiator Springs racetrack.
He stepped outside of his comfort zone of balls and is starting to also love cars!

Grandma Ellsworth made Addie some gorgeous sparkly dress up skirts!
Perfect for our girly girl.
They meet her two requests for dress-ups: twirl and touch the ground.

For breakfast Scott's mom whipped up delicious pumpkin waffles.

After Bennett's nap, we headed to the movie theatre to see "Frozen."
Adorable!  Addie loved it.  She especially loved that Anna looks like her with the orange hair.
She gets frustrated when people say she has red hair like Ariel, because Addie has orange hair and Ariel's is very red.  So she liked Anna's orange hair:)

After the movie, we came home and ate this beautiful Christmas salad.

One of my favorite Ellsworth traditional desserts is Buche de Noel (Yule Log).
It's an ice cream cake with homemade hot fudge!  We actually didn't have this on Christmas, but it fits with the post:)

Bennett got the balloons that you can punch, in his stocking.  We blew it up and he immediately fell in love.  In fact, he did NOT want to open up other presents because he was too busy playing with his balloon.  We had to hide it so that he would reluctantly open up other presents.  Santa's wondering why he bothered to bring Bennett anything else:)

In the video below Bennett got a stuffed animal dog that barks and tugs back on the rope in it's mouth when you pull on the rope. As you can see, he was terrified of it (he's still nervous around it).  Joe had opened up a football earlier, so Bennett decided to pull a fast one on him and
swap the dog for the football!
