Crown Center at Christmas

During Scott's vacation week we made sure we went to Crown Center.

They really make it special for Christmas! 

Though, it's pretty awesome all year.

Telling him she wanted a Belle and an Ariel Barbie.

Bennett got in major trouble with me this day.

He's a MAJOR Daddy's boy.  It wouldn't bother me accept that he's super mean to me.  I'm okay that he prefers Scott over me, but I'd at least like a little love for being the ones that prepares all his meals, changes his diapers and basically does everything for him!  This particular day I would try to pick him up or carry him and he would throw a huge tantrum because he only wanted to be with Scott.  I told Scott there was no way that Bennett was going to leave him to go to Santa, but I wanted to try.  I told Santa this and said that even if he screams, I just want one quick pic.  Bennett didn't make a peep on Santa's lap!  Not one bit of fussing.  He was totally cool with being on some strange old man's lap.  But his mom's lap?!  That's taking things too far.  When Bennett didn't cry, Santa taunted me and said, "What that you said he was going to do?  Hmmm? Guess you were wrong."  Then he stuck his tongue out at me.  Thanks Santa.  Salt in the wound!

We got to watch them make chocolates at a fancy candy store.

We took the kids to the 'train restaurant.'  You order your meal on a telephone and then a train delivers it.  There are constantly trains driving all around the restaurants delivering everyone's food.  We thought Addie would like it and didn't think Bennett would care too much. 

We were wrong!

Addie like it, but Bennett LOVED it!!!!!

 Every time he saw a train he would get this incredulous look and his belly laugh!  His face seemed to say, "Are you guys seeing this?!  What in the world are trains doing driving all through the restaurant?!"  I LOVE this series of pictures of his reaction to the trains.
