We are ready for our little girl to come! Well, her bedroom is decorated, which is really all a baby needs, right?! I have officially finished all of my projects for her room. Actually, not all of them can be completely finished until we decide on a name for her and have some pictures of her to put up, but it's as close as it's gonna get until she gets here. Decorating her room has been my project since we got here. I have had so much fun thinking of ways that I can make it cute on a budget. It's amazing how creative you can be when you don't have the money to go and buy ready-made things.
Here's her dresser. We couldn't stand the thought of spending $200 on a dresser, when she'll be growing in and out of her clothes so fast. I got these cheap plastic drawers from Wal-Mart, stacked them on top of each other and mod-podged paper and things on it to try and hide the cheapness of it all! As you can see, there are already quite a few outfits in these drawers, thanks to our moms and sisters!
The picture above and below are my projects that can't be finished until she's born. On the boards to the left and right of the center board I'm going to put pictures of her. The picture below is of a collage I'm going to do. There's a place for a hand print, foot print, picture of her, her name, birthday, weight and height.
In between the two blocks above her crib, I'm going to put the first letter of her first name, whatever that ends up being!

ABSOLUETLY ADORABLE!! I wish we could have seen it in person this past weekend! Someday!! Hope your trip to Utah was fun! I can't wait to meet your new little one! Her bedroom is so darn cute..way to go Mommy!
