To kickoff Easter this year we went to the Egg Hunt at the YMCA.
Scott was busy working so I thought it'd be something nice to keep us busy on a Saturday.
I was surprised by how cute it was!
The kids made crafts, then had a giant easter egg hunt.
A few of the millions of eggs had slips of paper in them for you to redeem and extra special prize.
Bennett was the luckiest kid there because he found two of them! Thankfully he was nice and shared his loot with Addie. He won the cutest sock monkey with bunny ears.
Speaking of bunny ears... he is the cutest!
Bennett wouldn't touch the Easter Bunny with a 9 foot pole.
The day before Easter, we had a fun Easter BBQ with friends.

I was thankful for the millions of Reeses' that my kids brought home.
Easter morning Bennett ran right into the living room and found his basket without a single problem. We thought the bunny hid it better than that. The Easter Bunny also left him a real basketball. I think Bennett has a radar for balls.
He was beyond excited when he found his new ball!

Addie's big ticket item from the bunny was a water bottle like mine that is just for her.
It sounds weird, but she is sooooo excited about it. She tells pretty much every grocery store cashier and YMCA worker about her new water bottle 'that's purple with bunnies and kitties on it and has a purple straw.'
Then it was time to hustle to 9:00 am church!
Notice how tight Bennett's pants are! I made him the skinniest of skinny pants. I was nervous he would bend over and they would split. Thankfully we made it through all 3 hours of church without a wardrobe malfunction.
I do love how cute his little hiney looks in those pants.
