We had a blast at Totsercise at the Y.
The kids loved pushing each other (and me!) on the little scooters.
I always have very eager helpers to make pancakes in the morning.
Addie LOVES making any kind of art project! I love it because I can set out my work (scrapbooking, paying bills, menu planning) and she will get out her art stuff and set to work creating something. It's so fun to work along side each other.
We LOVE going on the trail by our house. We took advantage of some gorgeous weather.
Addie asked me to teach her how to sew, so I threaded a large, blunt crochet needle with yarn and gave her a scrap of fabric. She wanted to make a hat for her future baby sister (nope, no announcement! She is just really excited at the prospect of someday getting a sister). After she was finished sewing, it was a big ball. I asked her how that was going to fit on a baby's head and she said, "I changed my mind about what I was making. It's not a hat. It's a soft fluffy ball that we can rub against the baby's cheek to make her happy!" Ha. What a wonderful idea:) I better make sure it doesn't get lost before another sibling comes along.
Love the green smoothie-stache!
These kids LOVE playing in the front seat of the car!
Bennett with his best friend swinging like monkeys.
Another of Addie's new things is doing my hair. It feels so nice to have her always brushing my hair. I usually beg her not to stop.
Loving the fun zoo day we had with friends.
My kids always crack me up at Costco. They LOVE sitting next to each other in these carts.
He is OBSESSED with Cheerios right now and will eat 3 big bowls for breakfast. Not joking.
He also loves his 'bike' though he gets frustrated because he can't pedal it and he can't even come close to keeping up with Addie. But if he doesn't have something to ride on he gets way too sad so we bring it to the trail and let him feel like he's a big kid.
Scott's dream of playing catch with his son is finally coming true.
Going out for a pass...
Here's the pitch...
And Bennett gets nailed in the back! Ha! They're working on it.
These girls love their Elsa capes!
Bennett put himself in timeout with his friend that was having a timeout. It was hilarious seeing him put himself over there. He kept looking at his friend and when she would pout or scream, so would he. It was like he was learning how to properly conduct himself in a timeout!
Dying Easter eggs with friends.
The kids are obsessed with swings and under doggies lately.
We had an FHE fire with some friends. Addie was in heaven.
Bennett matching his future bestie.
Scott had his annual fancy pants dinner.
We even had to buy him a tux!
Here he is with his class on interns.
We lucked out with this awesome group of guys!
While we were at the dinner our kids slept over at a friend's house due to a babysitter conflict... Addie was beyond thrilled to sleep at her best friend's house! Bennett was less than thrilled to have to sleep in the pack and play. They babysitter said that he really wanted to lay with Addie. When we got back to the house to take them home for the night, this is how we found them. Talk about melt my heart!
The Culver's down the street opened last week!
Halelujah!
The kids love being read to, especially Bennett, and especially the book "Pout Pout Fish."
He really loves it because Scott will always rap the book and do the best voices. He asks for it to be read so many times a day that I have to hide it until Scott gets home from work:)
We are so lucky to have this temple so close to us.
And I'm so lucky I get to go there with these awesome young women every month!
We found out that Addie needs a white sundress for her dance recital next month, so I couldn't resist the urge to make her one. I just very criticized though because it doesn't spin very well. Oops!
