There are a TON of pictures here. I documented more than I normally would have for the 2 missionaries, Martha and Jamie, so they could see all that happened!
It was finally time for the wedding!
All day long Addie was asking, is it 5:00 yet? Because I told her she couldn't wear her flower girl dress until 5:00. This girl was excited for the wedding!
Stephen with his Groomsmen
Addie was eating up all the attention she was getting.
She was posing all night long!
I loved that she would pick up her dress like Cinderella to walk anywhere.
Since Scott was the only married Groomsman, he was solicited for married advice.
I'm a little worried what that advice was... :)
I was terrified about keeping Bennett quiet for the entire ceremony. It's not like church when there are a million crying kids and his cries just blend into the background. Luckily, Grandpa went to the store and bough fruit snacks and squeezing applesauces... my kids' favorite treats!
We loved seeing Aunt Lori and Aunt Linda!
The ceremony was beautiful. It's so nice seeing how much Stephen and Allison love each other.
They are such a good match!
All I wanted was a nice family pic of the 4 of us, but Scott was difficult to find and the kids certainly weren't cooperating!
There were amazingly delicious cake pops with your name on them to tell you which table you were seated at.
Stephen's groom's cake was appropriately topped with skateboards.
This is one of my all time fave pics. Grandpa is so sweet with Bennett! Bennett kept showing Grandpa his fork and loudly declaring what it was and Grandpa would emphatically repeat after him.
It was adorable!
It started getting dark outside and the lights from the dance floor starting coming on, so from here on out the pics aren't very good, but they're still great for memory purposes.
Like I said, Addie was constantly talking Nate's ear off.
Scott and his Bridesmaid making their entrance into the reception.
Addie kept asking me (with a disgusted look on her face), "Why is he walking with that different girl?!" I'm glad to know she's got my back.
Mother-Son Dance
Bennett was quite the ladies man.
I couldn't find him for a minute. After looking for a bit, I discovered he was dancing with a bridesmaid!
Then he was on to Aunt Lori.
Addie was a riot on the dance floor. She was loving all the attention she was getting and was quite the dancing queen. She wouldn't hang out with us at all. She found some 'friends', aka bridesmaids that she had never met before. She was following these older girls on and off the dance floor. I couldn't get her away from them. She'd come over to the table to drink some water, then straight back to the dance floor she'd go! One time we couldn't find her anywhere. We discovered her out in the hall with a woman she didn't know, convincing her to get dressed up like a princess and take pictures in the photo booth together. This girl. Once 10:00 hit we decided to get the kids back to the hotel for bed. I told Addie it was time to go. She was so disappointed. As one last stand she said, "I can do what I want!" Heaven help us.
She did go willingly, but had to get a little sass out first.
It was such a beautiful wedding. We were very glad that we could be there to support Stephen and Allison on their big day. We're excited to have Allison join the Ellsworth clan. Congratulations guys!
(Martha and Jamie, we missed you guys soooooo much!)
