I'm going to be playing catch up from our vacation over the next few days, mostly for journaling sake. So here goes!
The kids did great on our plane ride to Utah, and I was in heaven having Scott with me on the airplane. It was so weird having help getting through security and everything else.
Once in Utah, we had 24 hours before Scott and I headed to LA so we spent the time playing with the kids and getting them used to my parent's house, and making sure my sister knew all she needed to for them.
In that 24 hour window, Addie discovered my wedding dress and baptism dress and insisted we put them on to spin. I was hesitant because I didn't want the sadness that would come from my dress not fitting anymore. To my surprise, Sarah got the zipper up easily!!! It was definitely snug in some places that it was not before, but I'm just going to glory in the zipper going up.
We headed to the city park where the kids had a blast and learned how to rock climb. Ok, Bennett didn't learn. He just posed for a picture.
But Addie did great at scaling the wall.

Bennett saw this little lady and ran straight to her to hold her hand. He likes older women.
In the afternoon, it was time to say goodbye to our kiddos. Hardest thing ever! I had such a hard time leaving them. The only thing that made it okay was knowing they were in such good hands.Walking into the airport was the strangest feeling. I didn't have a single bag or sippy cup to worry about. I wasn't stressing if we had the binky or not. I didn't even have a purse. I had my phone in my pocket and that's it. I felt a little lost. The flight was so relaxing and we even got to do the crossword puzzle like old times!
