Sew Busy

The past few weeks, Scott has been really busy with school. Who thought that 3 1/2 weeks of tests was a good idea?!

This means he's been studying a lot more at nights than usual. When your child goes to bed at 7:00 pm and your husbands busy studying, what's a girl to do?

Sew! I've been keeping myself busy with lot's of projects! I made myself a skirt then using the scraps and some other scraps, I made Addie a matching dress.

I made another dress for Addie. I realized this is the only picture I have of it and since it's in the room with her while she naps, this is the best look you're gonna get:) The straps are braids that come together in the back!

I've officially gotten rid of my diaper bag. Hallelujah! I made Addie her own cinch bag with all of her stuff. It fits right inside of my purse and I can whip it out when I leave her at the YMCA and not have to leave my wallet and everything else in my purse!

I also went through my closet and found about 6 skirts that needed a hem fixed, a hole stitched up or taking in. I've rediscovered my wardrobe!

May is going to be a grossly busy month for Scott, so bring on the sewing! Now if only I could find a way to fund this hobby, because it's getting expensive:)
