Dallas with the Ellsworths

Last weekend Uncle Stephen got married in the Dallas area!
Since it's only a 9 hour drive we decided that we would do that instead of fly.  Well, Scott was unable to get the week off, but was able to get the weekend off, which meant he would have to fly and I would drive the kids by myself.  Scott's mom is just the best and bought her flight into Kansas City to help me make the drive with the kids!  Thank goodness for her thoughtfulness.

Before we took off she took us out for ice cream!

Then, bright and early the next morning we took off for Dallas!
Aunt Laura lives in the Dallas area so we went a week early to spend some time with her family before the wedding.

To say that Addie loved the attention Aunt Laura gave her would be an understatement.

We went to the "Pickle Parade" for St. Patrick's Day.

There were TONS of Elvis impersonators riding around in tiny motorcycles.  So bizarre!

We went to the park several times and enjoyed the Texas sun!

These cousins had a lot of fun together!
They spilled cereal on the floor and had a good time 'cleaning' it up.

These monkeys also loved jumping on my bed.

Bubbles in the bath tub with Aunt Laura was a huge hit!

So was making popcorn and chocolate chip cookies.

These cute cousins were matching for St. Patrick's Day!

Addie was always begging whoever would listen to play Candyland with her.

Bennett was lucky enough to sneak into Brooklyn's bath time.
More to come...
