February Happenings

Bennett LOVES hiding in the toy chest.

The kids love going out on the balcony to play in the snow.
I love it too because I can watch them inside the warm house.

Bennett is obsessed with wearing Addie's boots.
He loves them because he can get them on and off himself.

Addie's getting better and better at dance.

She practices A LOT at home.  Especially to Frozen.
She does very serious lyrical performances to "Let It Go" all the time.

Our little dude got pneumonia.  No bueno.
It REALLY knocked him out for about 4-5 days.

He and Scott had the cutest nap together.
Both my boys were soooo tired.

Addie's become an early riser.
Her new thing is to get me, Bennett and herself breakfast bowls, filled with mini-wheats for breakfast.  One morning she even filled mine and Bennett's with milk.  Our breakfast was VERY soggy that morning.  But I love how thoughtful she is.  And how she lets me sleep a little longer in the mornings.

Addie and I were eating breakfast and Bennett disappeared on us.  We found him asleep on the couch.  Crazy!  This kid never goes to sleep on his own accord.  He was feeling so awful, that he was only awake for a total of 2 hours this whole day.

We do A LOT of dressing up.
Like, an absurd amount.

Addie LOVES her dance teacher and her best friend.

I have been so surprised how well behaved Bennett is during Addie's dance class.  If I bring him a ball, he will just sit and hold it pretty much the whole time.  He usually sits on my lap.  It's almost like he's shy, so he stays really close to me.  This is so unusual for him, so I soak up all the cuddle time I can get from him!

I got to go to the temple with my young women.
I LOVE my calling at church and I LOVE these young women.
Such a great group!

We went to the most adorable library story time!
Addie made moose antlers and they got to play parachute.

My kids BEG to help when I'm cleaning the bathrooms.
Here's my proof that at one time, they loved to clean the bathrooms!

It's not uncommon to find Bennett with one of Addie's hair accessories on his head.

We did some babysitting, which our kids loved.

Another of Bennett's new things is to want to be read to all the time.

He's also getting good at puzzles.
He's such a sponge right now!

I love how he looks like a ninja in his snow gear.
We had another snow day.  This city completely shuts down when there's any fresh snow on the ground.  Crazy.  We were glad that the snow day landed on Scott's day off this time!

Addie loves using this hill in our yard as a slide.
