Pool time!

Our favorite afternoon activity is to check the mail. To get to the mail station you have to go by the pool. For weeks when we would go, Addie would ask me if we could go swimming. I thought the water would be way too cold but I'd humor her and let her go dip her toes in so that she's believe me that it was freezing still.

One day a few weeks ago when she put her foot in she was so excited because the water wasn't freezing! I ended up letting her swim in her little spandex shorts and let Bennett kick his legs around in the water for half an hour. They were in heaven! I LOVE that my kids love the water!

The next day we returned a bit more prepared and Addie got to swim in her suit. I didn't think Bennett would want to take a plunge because it was still a little chilly, but I should've known my crazy man. He couldn't be stopped and wanted to splash along right next to Addie! The hours on end spent at the swimming pool is one of the things I'm going to miss the most about Houston! We plan on taking full advantage of our pool access these last few months!
