Happy Birthday!

We have now had the pleasure of having this little beauty in our family for 2 whole years!

We couldn't be in Utah for her actual birthday, without paying for an airplane ticket home, so we celebrated with a family party a couple of days early!

 Papa Ellsworth wanted to make sure that his Texas girl had some delicious brisket for her party.  Boy, did he slave away.  

 Future surgeon Scott will never turn down a meat carving opportunity.

 I'm such a nice mom that on for her party I gave her as much lemonade as she wanted and I didn't even water it down.

She lived it up!

 Whoever said that having a birthday close to Christmas means you get ripped off in the present category, is not a part of the Ellsworth and Clark families.

This girl was sufficiently spoiled!

 Since she's not old enough to request a birthday cake, the responsibility falls to me to choose a cake.  It's a hard life I live.

I made her a borscht de noel cake.

It's basically an ice cream cake with peppermint ice cream and you top it with hot fudge.

She loved the attention she got from the singing.

 She even blew out her own candles this year!

 Do you see how many people are crazy about this girl?!

So lucky.

And that's not even everyone that was at the party.

It really was overwhelming to look around at everyone that was there to support our little girl.  She really is a lucky girl to have so many people love her so much.

You know who else loves her like crazy?

 That'd be us!

 How could you not love a face like this?!

She was nervous she didn't have a bib on, so she made one herself.
She diligently held onto it with her chin for quite some time!
