On March 7th Addie had her special blessing day! Scott had Spring Break and since most of our families hadn't seen her yet, we decided to spend it in Utah. We blessed her in the ward I grew up in. It was really nice to have both of our families and some friends at her blessing. The day before her blessing was our flight. It was Addie's first time on a plane and although she did amazing on it, it threw her for a loop and made naps for the rest of the day really hard. This meant that on Sunday morning, she was not the happiest of babies. I was nervous she would scream through her entire blessing! We got to the church and she was still fussy. I told Scott to try and get her to sleep before they had to go up...he tried, but no dice. When they called them up, she was still crying. By this point, I'd given up on it being a peaceful blessing and was prepared for her to cry the entire time. The second Scott started the blessing, she went silent. She was calm for the entire blessing. It was really neat to see. When the blessing ended, the crying started back up, but I was grateful that she was calm for those few minutes.

awww, what a good little girl. She probably liked hearing dad's voice so amplified. Such a sweetie!
