Happy Memorial Day!

What a beautiful Memorial Day!  Saturday and Sunday were a little bit stormy, so we were worried about today's weather, but it turned out to be fantastic.  We definitely took advantage of the sunshine!  We had a family filled day today!

First, we started off with a big Fairbanks (Scott's Mom's side) family breakfast at the Ellsworth's complete with delicious crepes.  While we were there, we played some doubles ping-pong matches, which is always a good time.

After breakfast we went down to a park in Orem for the annual Clark family barbecue.  The Clark family is gigantic and I was surprised to see so much of the family there!  Grandma and Grandpa wanted to try and get a family picture, which was a pretty funny sight when you consider that they have 13 kids who all have pretty big families of their own.  After the pictures, we had a competitive game of kickball.  Our team won in spite of all my Dad's base running errors:)

Tonight we went up to the Ellsworth's and went on a nice bike ride through Draper.  When we got back to the house, Nate was ready to get a fire going.  So we spent a little time around the fire, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.  We had such a great day.  We feel blessed that we could spend so much time with both of our families.  We are making sure that we take advantage of having them around, at least for a little bit longer!
