Sledding

What a white Christmas we've been able to have this year! We're taking advantage of it and letting Addie get outside to enjoy it. The Ellsworth's backyard has a slight slope to it, so we thought it'd be the perfect place to ease our cautious girl into sledding.

She started out completely terrified! I worked my mama magic and gradually worked her up to riding all by herself by the end! It makes me so proud when she is brave because I know it is so hard for her overly analytical brain.

We even made snow angels and had snowball fights galore. Addie and Scott made a good team. Scott would tackle us all and Addie would follow it up by throwing a nice big clump of snow on you while you're down.

Ps you know you're a Texan when you are wearing cowgirl boots to play in the snow. You can't really see them, but they're there:)

PPS Bennett was being snuggled inside the warm house so, alas, we have no pics of him.
