Beach Time!

There were a few things we really missed while we were gone.

The beach and our amazing friends were two of the most missed things!

A couple days after we got home, we decided to head on down to the beach.  There was really only day that Scott was able to go, so we decided that rain or shine, we were gonna give it a shot.

Well, it decided to pour rain.

On the way down we were listening to weather reports and the announcer specifically said that today was not a beach day.  Ha!  We'll just see about that.

As we pulled onto the shore is was pouring!!!

We thought, "Oh crap.  We're nuts!"

I should have taken a picture but I was too busy trying to keep my two kids dry while Scott went for a dip in the crazy rain.

10 minutes after pulling up, the rain stopped, the clouds parted and we had a gorgeous day at the beach!

We were so glad that we had decided to brave the weather.

Bennett just chilled out, like usual!

Addie had a blast chasing around one of her best buddies.

And playing in the sand.

She was a huge mess!

We were parked right by a can blasting island jams.
I caught these two busting out some moves.
