Funny Times

With Addie talking so much these days, we've finally entered the stage of parenthood where we get to here some pretty hilarious things come out of that little mouth!  So, sorry but there'll be no pics to this post.  But I've gotta get this story down before I forget it!

A couple weeks ago we were grocery shopping.  It was the end of the trip, which is when she's losing patience and so I'm just trying to get out of the store.  As I'm grabbing the last few things she says in a very frustrated and impatient voice, "WANNA GO SEE BRAAA!" (Yes, braaa is how she pronounces Grandma. Don't ask. We don't understand either)

So I said, "I wanna go see Grandma too."

Then she says, "Wanna go see Gracie! (my family's dog)"

"Yes, Addie, I wanna go see Gracie too."

Addie, "Gracie's pretty cute." I love that she attaches the pretty to these kinds of sayings

"Yes, Addie, Gracie is pretty cute."

Addie, "Papa pretty cute too!"

In case you're wondering, Papa is her Grandpa, and yes, he is pretty darn cute.
