This was Addie's first Halloween that she could say, "Trick or Treat!"
And, boy, did she love it!
Our future Cougar, went as a BYU cheerleader... thanks to Grandma for sending us the outfit!
She cheered her heart out!
"Go Cougars!"
"Touchdown!"
"Cheese!"
We went to the trunk or treat with another friend, who also didn't have her husband to go with.
Scott's on a super busy rotation right now. We weren't sure if he would get home in time to come. I held off taking Addie around to the trunks, so we could do it when he, hopefully, made it. She became the candy passer-outer. At first she was more than happy about her job, until she realized that it was delicious candy she was giving to other people and they were not giving her any back!
She got distracted when her friends came bye and had fun putting candy in their baskets.
Then Dad made it!
*I know the pic is so bright, but look at how they are to be with each other*
Dad stepped right up and took Addie around to a lot of trunks.
I didn't realize the amount of brownie points we'd be scoring with Addie's outfit, but there were a lot of BYU football loving husbands passing out the candy and they gave her handfuls because they loved her costume!
Then she found another friend and they chased each other around the parking lot for seriously 20 min straight. Pure sugar high!
The girl came home with a lot of loot.
We put her to bed.
We will not speak of what happened to the candy once the cheerleader went to bed...

She looks very cute! I love the costume! Don't eat all of her candy.
The best part of being a parent right? "Rationing" the candy ;)
Oh. My. Gosh. This is the best thing ever. Did you save her at least some of her candy? ha I know you did.
