New Milestone

Addie has reached a new milestone... potty training!

She's been talking about it for awhile now, but I thought she was too small and I really didn't want the headache of it all. Finally I decided that I better take advantage of her wanting to use the potty and we went for it.

The girl did amazing!

Scott and I are truly baffled at how quickly she caught on and how smooth the sailing has been. Knock on wood.

There are definitely some kinks to be worked out.

But after a week she rarely has an accident and wakes up dry from every nap and and most mornings.

We thought the girl deserved a celebration so we took her to Chik Fil A last week to get ice cream!

She even got her own bowl.

Not having to share at a restaurant is a big deal!

She savored every single bite.

I definitely earned my potty training ice cream too.

If you come by our house these days, you're likely to find Addie running around in her princess panties (which she absolutely adores). Usually complete with an adorable wedgie.

We are so proud of our girl!
