*It you didn't notice, I'm using nap time to catch up on my neglectful blogging over the past month*
He did it!
My Scotty finished his second year of medical school! He's a 3rd year now. That blows my mind. When we first moved into the ward and met families that were in their 3rd year I remember thinking to myself, "That it so far away. I don't think we'll ever make it to 3rd year."
Then I blinked and here we are!
Scott did so well in his 2nd year. A few weeks ago he finished Step 1 of the board exams. You really can't even fathom how insanely hard this test is until you either a) take it or b) live with someone taking it (even then, I still don't think I fully get it)! We're so proud of how hard he worked on that test and are waiting for the scores now.
3rd year means a lot less classroom and a lot more actually learning how to be a doctor! He started in the hospital last week. Starting rotations, also means starting to have call:( Which means 3o hours straight at the hospital.
Scott had his first night of call last week. Addie and I did great on our own and kept busy doing crafts and having a girl's night.
