Addie Update

Oh, how we love our Addie and the funny things she does!

This girl loves to be needed and have attention. Her least favorite time of day is when I have to make dinner. Addie's new job, while I cook dinner is to set the table. At first, I thought she was way too little to do this, but quickly realized that she is awesome at it. When she puts something on the table, so comes back into the kitchen clapping for herself for doing such a good job. Not only does it keep her busy, but it really does help me out. No more setting the table for me!

She even does the glasses and hasn't broken a thing. Knock on wood!

The other day Scott was making dinner and I was cleaning the apartment. I noticed that it was way too quiet and that I hadn't seen or heard Addie in a little too long. So I called her name and in she came running to me. She looked soaking wet!

I couldn't figure out how she had gotten so wet. I asked Scott and he didn't know either. I got closer and realized she wasn't soaking wet, she just looked like she was.

I didn't know how this was possible, so I smelled her and realized she was covered in oil! The girl had discovered the deep fryer!!!! The girl was shining like a star! Don't worry, it wasn't turned on, just sitting in the cupboard. I guess Mama needs to find a new place to store the fryer!
