5 Months Already?!

Yep, it's true. Our little munchkin has hit the 5 month mark. It's only been 5 months, and we already cannot imagine our lives with out this sweet little thing.

Addie is starting to get her own personality. Here are a few of the things we love about her at this age:

1. She is a cuddle bug. I LOVE THIS! I will lie next to her on the carpet and she'll roll my way and burrow right into my side. She especially loves back rubs while burrowing in.

2. She's on the move. Two weeks ago she finally figured out how to get her arm out of the way so she could successfully make the roll from her back to tummy. Now I can't keep her on her back. I took a video of this, but have been slowing with the computer uploading... maybe in the next few days.

3. She "air crawls." If you've seen it, you know how funny it is. She'll prop herself up on her hands in preparation to move. When she's ready she'll pull her hands out from under herself and rock onto her belly so that her belly is the only thing touching the floor. This is the point when she moves her arms and legs in perfect crawling form... the only problem is, they're in the air so she doesn't go anywhere. I'm sure she'll figure it out in the next few weeks and will be scooting all over the place.

4. She loves going swimming, if I slowly get her into the water. She's very picky about her water temperature, even with the 100 degree weather outside!

5. After a few difficult nights, she is back to her sleeping 12 hours straight sleeping schedule at night. She no longer needs to be swaddled.

6. She is mesmerized with watching us eat. She wants to eat at the table with mom and dad. She's started eating some solid foods and loves her carrots and bananas.

I could keep this list going, but I won't. Suffice it to say, we love this girl. We feel so lucky that she is a part of our family and love watch her grow and change every day!
