Addie Update

Addie keeps on growing and is now 11 lb 7 oz! She has started to smile for reals now, not those gassy ones in her sleep. It is so fun to be able to make her smile! A couple of nights ago she went a record of 6 1/2 hours of straight sleep. I believe I heard a choir of angels singing after that. Unfortunately, since that night things have gone downhill sleeping wise. The poor thing caught bronchitis and has been struggling with breathing, which means a lack of sleep for all. The doctor prescribed her an inhaler for babies which is like a big mask that we have to put over her face to puff in the inhaler. The look on her face when we do it to her breaks our heart. She thinks that she's suffocating! Hopefully all the trauma will be worth it and she'll be better soon!

Here is Addie working on her tummy time. And by work, I mean hang out and suck on her hand. This little girl loves her tummy so much that when I put her on it to strengthen her neck, she just gets nice and cozy, finds her hand and starts to suck.

It's a very unproductive tummy time!
