Yay for Saturdays!

Last Saturday Scott and I had a jam-packed day of fun family things. We are loving not being in school anymore because our Saturdays are for doing whatever we want, not writing papers or studying for tests! This past weekend we got to hang out with both of our families. First, we went to my sister, Sarah's softball game with the Clark family to watch her pitch. Then we rushed to the Ellsworth's to go to free skiing with Harold and Nate. After a few great runs, the four of us hurried home to go to a Fairbanks (Scott's Mom's side) family party. Every year for St. Patrick's Day, the Fairbanks have corned-beef and bagels complete with all sorts of toppings like butter, mustard, pickles and pretty much anything else you can imagine. It's one of Scott's favorite traditions.

After the Fairbanks party, we rushed again, down to Provo to Kenny and Kari's (my brother and sister-in-law) house. They invited us over for a full fondue meal. I couldn't believe how much work it was to make. They had cheese fondue with all sorts of things to dip in, an asain beef and pork fondue, then, of course, chocolate fondue for dessert. It was so much fun to get to hang out with them. We played the most insane game called "Killer Bunnies." Kari's mom and dad played it when they were first married, so they bought it for Kenny and Kari. Once we got the hang of the game, it was actually pretty fun. We loved being able to spend the entire weekend surrounded by family. We feel so blessed to have our best friends as our brothers and sisters.
