Scott and I both agree that we don't like winter. We're pretty excited about the thought of not having a winter for the next 4 years. The one thing about winter that we are going to miss is skiing! I never went skiing when I was growing up because it was too dangerous and it might mess up my swimming, so last year when I was done swimming Scott and his family didn't waste any time getting me on the slopes and teaching me. This has become one of our favorite things to do together. He is so patient with teaching me. Yesterday we went up to Alta with Scott's Dad for free skiing. We were pretty excited to find out that Alta has free skiing everyday from 3:00-4:30. It's not very long, but you can't beat free! Being a poor married couple we go for all the deals we can find!
Here is a picture of my sister Sarah hitting for Salt Lake Community College last weekend against Snow College. She's a pitcher and she pitched a 2 hitter shutout! She's been hoping that she'll make the blog, so Sarah, here you go!
