Our Growing Baby

It's inevitable. 

You just can't keep babies from growing!

Our little guy (who was never actually very little) is getting bigger by the minute!

He'll be 6 weeks on Thursday.

Here's what our Bennett is like right now:

He currently has his 2nd cold.  Yes, second.  Poor guy.

He is so easy going and doesn't get upset by much.

He still really likes to sleep.

He's starting to consistently sleep in 5 hour stretches at night!!!

He also goes straight back to sleep after taking 10 minutes to eat.  Bless him.

To get him to sleep when he's being a little stubborn, we just run our finger down his nose and he instantly closes his eyes.

He got weighed last week and was 12 lb 10 oz.  Watch out!

While he's generally an angel baby, watch out if it's 8:00 pm.  He doesn't like that time of night.

He's pretty patient with all the "love" he gets from his sister.

Since we can't be with his Daddy for the month, we've been having Scott talk to him on the phone.  He gets really alert and still when listening.  It's sweet to see how he knows his Daddy's voice and is calmed by it!

He loves his belly.

It's a shame I can't let him sleep on his belly when I'm not right next to him.

The stripes on my shirt were making him insanely cross-eyed!

We love our big guy!
