Something we weren't expecting to see while in Utah, was Nate displaying his math skills!
One day, we were just hanging out and Nate called the house to tell us that he would be in the school's Math Bee in 15 minutes. We hurried out the door and got there just in time to see Nate tearing it up!
These math problems made me jog my memory a little more than I would like to admit, but Nate had no problem with them! He ended up tying for 2nd, which meant a tie breaker round.
Nate and another girl kept tying the tie breaker rounds (why a tie breaker round would be 4 questions instead of 3, I will never know). In very dramatic fashion, Nate clinched 2nd place. It really was exciting! Good job Nate!
